Schill - The company
It was in the year 1948 when engineer Otto Schill began manufacturing a small, portable drum for electric power cables. This was the beginning of Schill GmbH & Co. KG with it's headquarter in Fellbach near Stuttgart and manufacturing plant in Laichingen/Baden-Wuerttemberg.
More than 6 decades of experience with cable drums has led to a comprehensive line of products offering the right solution for just about any application. Today's product range comprises drums for household use, craftsmen and industry alike. They feature plugs for both alternating and three phase current and come with automatic cable rollers or automatic hose rollers for use in manufacturing lines. There are models to be integrated into radio and television O.B. vans or cable measuring vehicles, and there is a wide variety of special designs for specific applications. Additional services of the company include tool and casting mould building as well as manufacturing plastic components.
